Category-Based Image Resizer - This OpenCart module allows you to set the width, height and size type for images for each category.

At the moment, OpenCart allows you to assign only one set of miniature sizes for all products on the product page or category page. This is very good if you sell items of the same type in size and shape, but obviously useful if you can establish the ratio of the sides of the image depending on the shape of the product.

For example, clothing such as shirts, trousers and suits is better suited to portrait-sized photography (vertical rectangle). On the other hand, accessories such as sunglasses, bags and bracelets are cut so that they are horizontal (broad) images, or, more specifically, the size of album photos (horizontal rectangle).

• Set the user width, height, and image size type for each category.
• Choose from three options for changing the size of the image: default, Width, Height, and Scale with side-to-side ratio.

This extension supports five types of display:

Product page:

• The size of the product image.
• The size of the pop-up image of the item.
• Additional size of the image of the goods.

Category page:

• Image size in categories.
• The size of the product image list.

Instructions for installation:

1. Go to "Install add-ons/extensions" and click "Download";
2. Select the downloaded file and wait for the text "Supplement is successfully installed";
3. Then go to "Add-on Manager" and click "Update";
4. Now you need to give the rights to view and manage the module in the "User Groups" section by clicking "Highlight everything."
